A 4-day supported endurance footrace. The course of the Himalayan run takes competitors across a wide variety of terrains and includes approximately 3,636 m (11,930 ft) of ascents and descents over the stage race . Runners will tackle cobblestones, gravel, loose rocks, hard packed earth and even semi-paved paths during the event. This is in addition to the infamous 65 degrees steep incline even the most serious of runners find nearly impossible to walk, let alone run.
